Coming up Lauren!

Hey everyone,

I know, I know. I’m a horrible blogger! But I wanted to keep everyone abreast of new updates! It’s been a particularly busy time in my life, and I’m trying to get all my shit together. Basically, I’m doing an overhaul of everything in the backend of this over the course of March. Because… dundunDUN… I want to quit my day job. That obnoxious corporate job that I bitch about so much and sucks up so much of my life. I want out. I love the fetish community. I love performing. And it’s a little ridiculous how much happier I am when I’m filming, or even struggling with the tech side of things, or even just lurking on forums and thinking about new ideas, than when I’m thinking about work work. It’s a big commitment, and pretty damn risky, but fuck, if I don’t go for it right now in my life, I never will. So here are a couple things to look forward to in the next couple weeks

- Webcam sessions!! I’m signed up for MyFreeCams.com and Streamate, and will spend the next few weeks working both sites to see where I feel I fit in more. Follow my twitter – twitter.com/xoxolaurenkiley to see where to find me. I can’t tell you how excited I was to find out that I really love cam work. Partly because I love being admired and showing off, and partly because I can be as goofy and nerdy as I want and really connect with people :)

- New website. I’m working on getting this entire blog transferred to my own hosting, where I’ll be able to make it a lot prettier, link directly to all my stuff, and generally have more control. More on that soon! I’m AWFUL with tech stuff (as anyone who saw me cam last night can attest to…) but I’m getting better. It’s a slow learning process

- Shoots with other ladies! Have I mentioned that some of my best friends are fetish producers as well? Because they are. And they know other people who are. And we’re going to work together because it’s more fun that way! Anyone who knows me knows that I’m all about community and supporting other people in the industry. So I’m pretty stoked on that.

-Niteflirt. You know I have a wicked imagination and ridiculously sexy voice. That “call now” button is going to be your new best friend!

It’s going to take a few weeks. So bear with me while I get everything settled. But I wanted you to know what I’m up to!!!

Damn right.

Giantess Thinks Ur Cute! Bestseller!

Curious about what other people are buying? Now that I’m selling at a more regular pace it’s much easier to see what’s popular and what doesn’t work for y’all. And to kick off 2012, we have a bestseller of this month! By an overwhelming majority:

Giantess Thinks Ur Cute:

This was one of my favorite clips to film, so I’m stoked that it did so well! As a giantess I find a little teeny man inside my home. I’m in my white lacy bra and panties, with nude thigh high stockings when I find you. And you’re so small and helpless that I think it’s totally adorable :) I could like, totally squish you with just one of my toes! Do you think your cuteness will play on my sympathies and I’ll spare you? Spoiler alert! It won’t! But I’m really sweet about it!

Naked Day

You know what I did today? Spend the afternoon naked with a lovely girlfriend sitting in hot rooms as the sweat rolled off our bodies. That’s right everyone – it was spa day! I hadn’t seen this particular lady friend in a while, so we were long past due for a hang out. And what better way to hang out and really intimately connect with someone than by lying in a room with jade walls?!

Attractions at this particular spa include: a hot tub, a SUPER HOT tub, a pool of icy cold water, a steam room that is so hot and steamy it’s hard to breathe, a dry wood sauna that plays Korean soap operas, a jade room that is warm and dry, and a clay room with pink crystals on the floor and clay walls that make the air hot and humid. But in the best way imaginable.

I love the spa. I love the camaraderie of being surrounded by naked women. I love that it’s impossible to be self conscious of your body when every other body type, of every age, race, and personal grooming choice, is represented. I love feeling all the toxins sweat out of my skin. I love feeling the heat seep into my muscles and force them to relax. I love the water infused with citrus fruits. I love just lying in the heat and listening to the water splash from outside in the spa. Since I’ve been training for a 10k race my muscles are almost always at least a little tight and at first it was almost painful to feel them completely relax. I hadn’t even realized how much tension I was carrying in my shoulders and calves until it melted away.

And I love how soft and smooth my skin is after I attack it with a body scrubber. It’s like a ridiculously scratchy mitten that you rub all over your body. And it clears ALL the dead skin that you’ve softened up off your body. It’s kind of gross seeing just how much dead skin you had on yourself, but it feels awesome seeing that it all disappears. My friend and I scrubbed each other’s backs and marveled at how we both shed almost equal amounts of skin. When we went with another girl a few months ago she barely shed at all and we felt awkward. But now I’m so smooth and exfoliated that my knit sweater dress feels like pure satin!

Spa day is the best.

New Phone!

Well, it happened. My old HTC Incredible finally died. I dropped it a few months ago and cracked the screen pretty badly. But then the software started getting really buggy. It told me I didn’t have enough memory to read my text messages. It wouldn’t open twitter or facebook. And I hadn’t been able to check my email for months. So… all the things I paid money to have a smartphone for… didn’t work!

But good things come out of troubles. I broke down and after YEARS of lusting… finally got an iPhone! And not just any iPhone… the iPhone 4s! I can have Siri send texts when I’m on the road. I can check my multitude of email accounts. The browser is clean and fast enough for me to update my clip stores from. And the camera… oh the camera…

I’m sharing this information with you not just because I’m a crazy Apple fangirl (but that’s partly true). But because the pictures I can take a far bigger upgrade. And that means that you can have a better picture of my life on the go! If you don’t already, definitely follow me on twitter to see things like:

The first thing I did with my new phone was take this picture. The light in the back is at the Apple store!

My new phone technojoy!

I was staying with family when I realized that in the face of my extremely homophobic uncle I was rocking my “love is never wrong” t-shirt to run in. Also – damn right I wear running skirts! I was so happy when I discovered them so I could stay femme while I stay fit! And let’s face it, legs as gorgeous as mine should never be hidden underneath sweat pants!

Me making a funny face at work. Really, I was just playing with my camera and wanted to show off the color of this cashmere sweater to a friend. It’s so soft and warm! Perfect for this cool 50 degree weather we’re having in the height of winter in Southern California. I’m a sucker for cashmere. Especially after a day at the Korean spa when I’m super exfoliated and my skin is just as silky soft!

My Adoration of Ida Maria

I first heard of Ida Maria while I was pouring over the Lollapalooza 2009. I was talking with a friend as we were planning out our days, and he idly recommended that I check her out because I am “into that whole female singer-songwriter thing.” Which is totally true. I don’t even remember who else was playing in that slot, but I decided to check her out.

Soaking west and ripping that fabulous dress onstage to reveal a hot pink bra - we're kindred spirits

And she blew my mind. She went from crooning to growling to shrieking to stripping to rolling on the stage in a heart-achingly beautiful performance. Her rendition of The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog” proved that while she may technically be a female “singer-songwriter” she is more aptly described as “rock n’ roll star.” She ripped her gold dress open and forced the crowd to join her dance party. Her energy was infectious, and no one could help being drawn into her sultry yet playful show. I found myself jumping along to “I Like You So Much Better When You’re Naked” even though it was the first time I had ever heard the song.

I immediately went home and bought her album – Fortress ‘Round My Heart. It’s one of the few perfect albums in my opinion. I wouldn’t change a thing. I have listened to it OVER AND OVER since then. And it gets me every single time. Her voice is just incredible, and her songwriting feels like she took my feelings out of my body and started singing them.

This song made it on to my “Theme Songs” playlist:

Whiskey please, I need some whiskey please
So bring me consciousness and kill my innocence

Her next album Katla, didn’t quite hit me in the same raw emotional way, but it’s still a fucking good album. “I Eat Boys Like You For Breakfast” is a tasty treat, and the single “Bad Karma” should prove to be a rock n’ roll anthem for years to come. At least it will be in my speakers.

It’s true, I am a sucker for bad-ass lady rockstars. But Ida Maria is one of the most bad-ass of the bad-ass lady rockstars. I hope to see her perform again soon. And maybe run away with her for a life of fun and adventure in Scandinavia…

Technical Stuff

This is for all those nay-sayers who don’t think filming clips is work. For all the activists who don’t consider it sex work. For all the viewers who want to know more about what goes into this (there’s gotta be a couple, right?). And for all the ladies who want to start and aren’t sure what they’re getting into.

I’m still new. And I’m still learning. And I’m not an expert by any means. There are ladies who have been doing this a LOT longer who I’m learning from. Who are generous enough to share the lessons they’ve learned over the past couple years. Who basically made my site possible. I’m not going to just dish out everything they’ve told me for free, because a lot of it has to be learned from hard work and experience anyway, but here are some of the things that go into each clip that you don’t necessarily think about. I’m also not very tech-savvy, so most of this comes even harder to me than it might other ladies.

BSG – finally watching!

I’ve been a fan of sci-fi and fantasy for as long as I can remember. Seriously, my childhood was filled with books and movies and Star Wars (yeah – the novels too!) and computer games that were either The Forgotten Realms of Where In Space is Carmen San Diego? I’m a huuuuuge Doctor Who fan, and at one point owned a cardboard lifesize cutout of Buffy.

Therefore – it was shocking to many of my friends how long it took me to start watching Battlestar Galactica. It was recommended over and over, but starting with the 3 hour mini-series just seemed like too much for me. When I start watching a show, I get a little obsessive, and have been known to spend entire days watching one series to get through a season.

But holy shit everyone – BSG is worth the time!

It’s smart. It’s emotional. There’s a lot of sex. There’s a lot of political debate. There’s some drugs, some booze, some gambling, some betrayal. Relationships are tested. The whole HUMAN RACE is tested. The notion of what it means to be human is tested. The characters are beautiful, fucked up, compelling, and wonderfully written. Edward James Olmos feels like the gruff fatherly figure I wish I had. I would go to bed with Starbuck in a heartbeat. And Gaius Baltar reminds me of a handful of arrogant asshats I knew in grad school.

And Six… oh Six! I want to be her! That hair! That dress! The way she orders Baltar around. Her low drawl when she’s manipulating him. The way she walks. The way she flashes her eyes. What a babe. I’ve never really had a thing for robots, but she could change my mind about that any day! Damn.

I’m almost through the first season. I’m sure I’ll have a full review or report by the time that it’s done. For now I’m utterly captivated and don’t want to stop watching to take the time to write about it!
